A SPECIAL Kick-Off!!!

TAU, the largest Israeli university hosts the largest community of marine biologists in Israel (Zoology, Plant Sciences, and Microbiology). TAU houses the National Center for High Throughput Screening of novel bioactive compounds (HTS). In addition, it has the strongest Marine natural product laboratories in Israel. The facilities found within the Faculties of Life Sciences, Exact Sciences (including the School of Chemistry) and the Medical School, make TAU a national focal point for marine derived natural product research of medical and pharmaceutical importance.
